Heat exchanger
Krill
Endurance's first hardware in the ocean. In August 2025 the team placed an 80 kW heat exchanger on a live 326 C vent on the Juan de Fuca Ridge, 1,600 meters down, and held it there for 10 days.
It validated efficient heat transfer in the exact environment every later system depends on. Concept to seafloor in months, not years.
