Vent Interface
Silverfish 2
Silverfish is the first subsea geothermal generator. Deployed twice, first in the Mariana Trough off Guam in October 2025 and then on a 386 C black smoker on the East Pacific Rise in January 2026, it sealed to the vent and ran a steam Rankine cycle designed for 1 kW of electricity.
Two dives taught Endurance more than a year of simulation ever could.
