Fluid Capture
Wellhead
Wellhead tapped the Earth's heat without drilling a full well. Over 14 days in the Lau Basin off Tonga in April 2026, an ROV placed the system on a hydrothermal vent, anchored it with a robotic ice screw, and pumped naturally rising hot fluid through a controlled flowline.
It de-risked the drilling tooling and proved Endurance can access, seal, and pump hydrothermal fluid.
